BIO: Kylie McElhone is a proud Wiradjuri woman. She has over 30 years supporting clients who have been impacted by trauma and abuse, including in the areas of juvenile justice, domestic and family violence, child protection and sexual assault. Kylie also has 17 years’ experience in investigation, including professional and student misconduct. Kylie currently manages the Safe and Respectful Communities Team at the University of Wollongong.

SESSION OVERVIEW:

Part 1 – What is coercive control and an overview of the changes to Australian legislation.
Part 2 – Tips for creating professional boundaries with clients.
