High Hanging Fruit: Engagement Strategies for Online, Postgrad, NRSL and RRR Students – Alistair Cowie (Australian Catholic University)

  • October 31, 2023
  • Com 0

BIO:  Alistair Cowie is Associate Director, Student Life at Australian Catholic University. He is an experienced higher education professional with a demonstrated history of working in student leadership and development. Alistair is skilled in Event Management, Management, Leadership, Marketing, and Strategic Planning, and is a strong information technology professional with a MM focused in Marketing from University of Sydney.

SESSION OVERVIEW:  They pay SSAF. They make up a significant portion of our market. But I bet most people, if they’re asked to describe a student, would not talk about a 30-year-old Masters student studying remotely from Broken Hill.

Alistair will facilitate a discussion around the question of:  How do we do to ensure that these students are being treated equitably?

Attendees will share their ideas and experiences and will be invited to share strategies to ensure all students get the university experience they expect.
